  5. Hydrogen automobiles – Vehicles which have hydrogen as a power origin – e.g: Honda FCX Clarity
  6. Electrical cars – vehicles that use electricity as an electrical supply – e.g: Electric vehicles, electric buses
  7. Steam Engine Vehicles – Automotives powered by steam engine – e.g: Steamboat, steam locomotive, vapor wagon
  8. Hybrid cars – automobiles which use a couple of distinct power sources – e.g: Hybrid buses, hybrid automobiles like Toyota Prius, Honda knowledge
  9. Hybrid Electric car (HEV) – vehicle that utilizes both Internal Combustion motor and Electric Power Origin to propel itself – e.g: Jaguar C-X75

4. Considering type of transmission:

  1. Automatic transmission cars – vehicles which are with the capacity of changing equipment ratios immediately as they move – e.g: Automated Transmission Cars
  2. Traditional transmission automobiles – Automotives whose gear ratios have to be altered by hand
  3. Semi-automatic transmission automobiles – Vehicles that facilitate manual gear changing with clutch pedal

  1. Left hand drive vehicle – car by which steering wheel is fitted from the left-hand side – e.g: Automobiles within United States Of America, Russia
  2. Right hand drive automobile - Vehicle for which tyre is fitted on right hand part – e.g: Automobiles within India, Australian Continent
